Lulu had a green theme - green contacts to match her neon green painted cowgirl boots. She's been in business buying cowgirl boots from thrift shops, painting them using acrylic paint, then selling them to friends.
Sarah had a pink "poof" in her hair - she called it a girl version of a pompadour. I also randomly spotted a second girl with the another poof... thought that was a big coincidence.

These girls wear what they call "fan hair" or "sunhawk" everyday to school - it takes them 30 minutes to do it up and their teachers have them sit in the back of the classroom so they don't block anyone's view.
These guys were covered in mud from head to toe. The race track at Warped had a mud pit in Calgary. I didn't get to see all the mud wrestling but the guys filled me in on the good times by picking me up and getting me all muddy!
Nick was wearing welding goggles which he brought to ward off the dirt and dust in the air from the race track. He's a welder at a local powerplant welding parts for big industrial machines.
Christi was wearing purple dreads sewn into a wig she found online. She has great hair underneath that she usually mohawks but this time she wanted to change it up with something bizarro.
Donna works at a vintage shop and her roommate and friends are all fashion designers (Love Deming is one). She was decked out with victory rolls, suspenders, and polka dots.
Kit alters all of his clothes by resewing pants/shirts and buys jewelry from flea markets. His buddies call him "Native American Apparel" - ironic because he doesn't buy anything from that store.
Kity was wearing pants that she had cut into two pieces with nylons underneath. She added elastic and lace to the leg part of the pants so that they stay up on their own.
Amanda had shaved off her eyebrows so she could draw them back in with a high arch. She thought it looked weird so she added stitches to give it a Frankenstein's bride look, she explained.
Matt sells merch at the Shirts For a Cure (SSE) booth. While he was bored, Heather and Emily (with Against Me) started making instruments out of cardboard. Their band is dubbed "Spanish Handshake" - they made an entire drumset, microphone, guitar, bass, tamberine, etc....
Emma had a cute look that included two big necklaces: a heart and a real cassette tape, with a mini vest. I've seen the mini vest over tanktop look on girls at Warped.
Lauren felt like dressing up so she curled her hair and put together a beautiful vintage outfit. Along with the over-the-top petticoat, she looks like she's straight out of a movie.
I knew I'd see something more from American Diary again. This one had me laughing: he had a drawn on a mustache and carried a huge blowup mic in his hand. "The more ridiculous you look, the more CD's you sell," he says, and I'm sure he's right. AD is so much fun and creative this year.
The A.K.A's are a punk rock band from Philadelphia on the Fueled by Ramen record label - we have been hanging out everyday at Warped Tour. I'm in the blue dress for those that wanted to see what I look like!
The Bouncing Souls, a punk rock band from Jersey, played their last show on Warped Tour yesterday, giving cred to the punk rock scene. The pic is from the Warped stage in Camden, NJ.
Lana, a former member of the Trashy Crue, is as stylish as ever - she's acting in NYC now. Raquel is a model for Ugly NY Agency and a MAC artist. Brett is a hair stylist in NY and works at Maneater Productions as creative director: they just finished Four Year Strong's video, and also did the music video for Aiden.
Henry was walking around with a shirt display (pretty bold) for the clothing brand Six Barrel Hooligan. Their label is selling on the entire tour, so stop by their tent and see if you like their designs.
I'm on the road right now, working on the Warped Tour this Summer. I'm
posting what I see from the bus to the stage to the merch tent. Consider this
music/fashion blog the start of something bigger: community. Come by everyday,
post your thoughts, and send your pics. TheMadeUp is an up-and-coming site
and is nothing without your help, so get involved. You can reach me anytime
